Impressive nature and very friendly people – that’s Scotland to us. In 2015 this important part of the United Kingdom almost separated from England and Wales. Stirling is the gateway to the Scottish Highlands. Important landmarks like the Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle and Bannockburn Heritage Centre remind of the heroes of Scotland’s yesteryear. Many historical treasures, old rituals and modern lively cities can be discovered on a school trip to Stirling.
After you got to know London and the south of England a school trip to Scotland is a must. A study trip to Stirling, Edinburgh or Perth is recommendable to students from 15 years on. Topics and excursions can be prepared in advance.
Free Educational Visits are offered by »Historic Scotland« and allow school groups free entrance for many sights. Advanced booking is essential!
