Travelling in Europe

Belgium - diversity and culture

We were in Brussels and discovered the most exciting places for you - from the Atomium, Mini-Europe, than past the Grand Place in the historic city centre to the Royal Palace.

Of course, we had to try a portion of crispy fries and real Belgian waffles on this short trip! Both very tasty 😋😋😋😋

Brussels also feels like an open-air museum, as many house facades have been painted with colourful comic pictures since 1991. On a comic tour, you can discover the most famous murals such as Tintin, The Smurfs and Osterix & Obelix 🔎👀

Want to go for yourself? We would be happy to organise your next school trip to Belgium.

Trip to Barcelona

Gaudi, Life & Tapas

Once again we visited Barcelona, our favourite Spanish city, combining work with fun travel and experiences. We are Gaudi fans and have been following the construction progress of the Sagrada Familia for 20 years - breathtakingly beautiful. Our special highlight on this trip: breakfast at MAURI on Rambla Catalunya with artful petit fours and the best hot chocolate in Catalonia. I (unfortunately) couldn't resist the temptations. The "sugar-free" colleagues preferred crispy baguette with Jamón Ibérico.

We are also happy to help small groups book Barcelona. The best time to visit is early season, it's early spring and there's no crowding at the sights yet. Barcelona and its many tapas bars or a city break to London, Berlin, Lisbon and Rome always hold surprises for the curious.

Kind regards,

Angelika & Team

A must for any fan!

In the north of London are the Warner Brothers film studios, where you can immerse yourself in the fantastic world of Harry Potter. A guided tour explains everything about Harry, Ron and Hermione's adventures. But remember, you'll need time to get there. We always plan a day trip for the Studio Tour.

Since 12 June, there has also been a photo exhibition in London on the occasion of the 20th anniversary. In addition to the photo exhibition, there are digital magic pieces that will amaze you. Fans can immerse themselves in the world of Harry Potter in various ways with the help of green screen technology.

Let us continue to enchant you!

I miss the Highlands of Scotland

The Gaelic nickname of Scotland's most famous island, "Eilean a' Cheò", translates as Island of Mist. A very apt description in my opinion, because even during my visit to the far north, thick clouds hung in the mountains and fog in the valleys, but I was still able to enjoy the breathtaking view.

For those who want a nature holiday in the Scottish Highlands, we know some very special routes off the beaten track.

Especially if you already know London or the South of England, a school trip to Scotland is a good idea. Particularly suitable for sixth form students or final year students.

Fancy a trip? Then write to us, we will be happy to advise you.

One of the most beautiful coastal resorts in England

I was last in Cornwall in summer 2014. A visit to the tidal island of St. Michaels Mount was one of my absolute highlights. The path to the well-preserved monastery building, which looks like Mont Saint-Michel in France, is only passable at low tide. When the tide comes in, boats have to be used. To this day, a handful of people live on the island and depend on the tides for their daily lives.

I'm looking forward to packing my bags again.

Cancelled due to the Corona Pandemic

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is the largest music festival in Scotland and has nothing to do with tattoos. The festival has existed for over 70 years and enchants people from all over the world every year in  August on the square directly in front of Edinburgh Castle with its typical Scottish sounds.

Incidentally, "tattoo" means nothing other than "taps".

Unfortunately, this year the music festival, like many other events, did not take place due to the pandemic. But we are already looking forward to 2021, when the Duddelsäcke will be allowed to play again.

If you are a fan of this military music or would like to become one, we would be happy to organise a trip to Scotland for you in 2021.

Architecture, culture, museums and more...

I can still remember my last trip to Dresden. It was 1992 when the Frauenkirche was still in ruins. Today, Dresden is unrecognisable with its magnificent buildings from different eras.

The most famous buildings in the old town, such as the Zwinger, the Semper Opera House and the Frauenkirche, can be easily explored on foot. A trip on the Elbe River is also highly recommended to get to know Dresden from a completely different perspective.

My children liked the panoramic tour on the suspension railway and the visit to the transport museum best.

On a school trip to Dresden, you can organise an exciting treasure hunt through the old town and combine culture with fun.

Many greetings from the Saxon capital.

Makes you want to go to the beach

I love to walk by the Baltic Sea and, on windy days, watch all the kitesurfers showing off their acrobatic arts on the water. How I wish I could do this ...

The Baltic Sea offers so many water sports opportunities. Whether sailing, paddling or surfing, the main thing is to get moving at and on the sea.  This is how every school trip becomes an experience.
