Vitamin C is very important for a strong immune system, but how do you get enough of it through food? Simple - with a smoothie made from fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C. Did you know, for example, that peppers contain even more vitamin C than oranges? Both are included in this delicious smoothie recipe. So your immune system gets an extra boost!
Ingredients (for 4 glasses):
- 2 oranges
- 1 yellow pepper
- 1 carrot
- 1 mango
- juice of 1 lemon
- 3 cm fresh turmeric
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 Medjoul dates (seeded)
- 400 ml water
Preparation: Peel the orange, carrot and mango, cut into pieces and put into the blender. Cut the peppers, squeeze the lemon and add to the blender with all the other ingredients and mix!
